How a plant works

How material moves through a plant

Service makes sense once you know where the wear happens. This is the path of the rock from hopper to finished fraction, with the parts replaced at every step.

  1. Feed and dosing

An excavator loads the hopper and a vibrating feeder releases material at an even rate. A pre-screen takes out fines before they reach the crusher.

    Wear parts

    • Feeder plates
    • Pre-screen grid
    • Springs and dampers
  2. Primary crushing

A jaw crusher breaks large blocks down to a size the rest of the plant can handle. Wear here is the most severe.

    Wear parts

    • Fixed and swing jaw
    • Cheek plates
    • Toggle plate
    • Eccentric bearings
  3. Screening

The screening plant separates material by grain size. Anything oversize goes back to the crusher on a return conveyor.

    Wear parts

    • Screen media, all apertures
    • Rubber mounts
    • Springs
    • Vibrator bearings
  4. Secondary crushing

A cone or impact crusher gives the grain its final shape and size. Liner condition here decides the quality of the product.

    Wear parts

    • Mantle and concave
    • Blow bars
    • Impact chamber liners
    • Eccentric and main shaft
  5. Product removal

Conveyors carry the finished fractions to separate stockpiles. A stopped conveyor stops the whole plant, so this part gets the same attention as the crusher.

    Wear parts

    • Belts and splices
    • Idlers and drums
    • Scrapers
    • Gearboxes and drives

Frequent questions

What we are asked most

Answers to the questions that come in before a job starts.

Do you come to the site, or does the machine have to come to you?

We come to the site. Most work is done where the machine stands — in a quarry, a concrete plant or a recycling yard. Only what cannot be done in the field comes to the workshop.

Do you service machines from every manufacturer?

Yes. We work on mobile and stationary plants regardless of make. The gallery shows photographs of machines we have worked on.

How quickly do you answer an enquiry?

Enquiries sent on a working day are answered the same day. If you state the machine type and make along with a description of the fault, the first reply can already be specific.

Do you also supply spare parts?

Yes. We supply wear and spare parts for crushers and screening plants — liners, blow bars, screen media, bearings, belts and drives.

Do you work outside Croatia?

We work throughout Croatia and the European Union. Some of the photographs in the gallery were taken on sites abroad.

Can you transport the machine to the site?

We can. We transport heavy equipment on lowloaders and handle loading, unloading and assembly on site. A car transporter trailer and vans are also available for hire.

Not sure what you need?

Send us the machine type and make and a description of the fault. We reply the same working day.
